Autumn's Harvest Blog Hop here on 11 9-12

Last weekend, I went to visit a friend who had moved to her new home in the spring. My journey took me from the big metropolis I live in to the country and I found myself looking for Autumn's colors. The red, gold, yellow, rust leaves.

And I found them.

The squirrels are scurrying. The nuts have fallen. The leaves are changing. All leading to one thing--THANKSGIVING!!

Pie, cake, smoked turkey, fixings, and more pie! And I can't wait.

So if your holiday journey takes you into this world's beauty, rejoice. And once with family and friends, and enjoying your time with them, remember pie.

What's your favorite?

At the end of the hop,
I'm giving away a handbag!

It’s hard to say what exactly would be my Go-To Autumn Romance book. When I think real hard about it, I would have to say it has a sexy, strong, determined male that when it comes to love is just lost. Then there has to be a woman who is usually in need of help or needs to know what love and family is. Together they heal each other and love turns out to be their greatest gift. I also love a happy ending at this time of year, usually where the epilogue has them starting their own family to love and cherish. Oh….and definitely HOT loving too!

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday! It's great fun to gather family and friends and chat the day away. Some gather in the living room for football, while others gather in the dining room and kitchen to chat. And, as some might think, it isn't the men watching football while the women chat. Everyone seems to migrate back and forth between the rooms.
I hope all of you have a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday!

I was never a big fan of pie when growing up, but I think that's because they were always store bought. Now that I bake my own, I have many kinds that I love and that make Thanksgiving really great. Plus it's great to see the kids with their cousins.

Hi, Sassy! My mom always said sassy was bad, but she was wrong. Sassy is fun! lol. MMMM, I can
t bet enough of cider either. Cheers!

Hi, Veronika! It's blustery where I am today. The wind just moved in and snow is predicted. Goodbye, summer; hello winter. Bundle up!

Hi, Belinda: you are so lucky to have that burst of color every year to view. Mine is dependent on water and the snap at the perfect moment. Since the drought last summer, our biggest trees are still in recovery. Have a wonderful holiday.

Hi, Kayley! Spring is so neat. A flowering quince outside my office window is always my first indicator spring is coming. Then the bees move in. I hope your winter is short so spring can come soon.

Hi, Molly! Werewolves and autumn do seem to go together. I don't read much in this genre. Have fun indulging.
