.@VickiBatman - friends can surprise me author @AlishaWilson on #handbag Monday #MFRWorg #PlottingPrincesses

Friends can surprise me! And even let me know when they find a new treasure.

~Handbag Monday~

So my friend, Alisha Paige Wilson, is out resale shopping and finds a treasure which she immediately puts up on Facebook. That's not enough for me. I have to know more.

Handbag made by Frankly Fabulous and bought at a resale shop. I saw it sitting there on a shelf, this cute little embroidered handbag with gorgeous bamboo handles! The blue, green and yellow fringe spoke to the hippy in me! I love fringe on just about anything and this sassy little bag had it all! Gorgeous flowery embroidery, earthy bamboo handles and the FRINGE, baby!!! Feminine, soft blues like a robin's egg and bamboo from the far East. I was shocked my name wasn't embroidered inside! xoxoxo

Alisha Paige is a best selling indie author writing paranormal and vintage romance under her real name, thrillers and westerns under the pen name, Ruby Vines and children's books under the pen name, Wolfgang Pie.

Blurb for My Little Texas Tornado: Muscles, Tornadoes and Wine!

That bag is just too cute

I've turned into a needlepoint gal thanks to Ms. Batman. Love those special handbags - but if I'm going to collect shoes AND purses - we're going to have to get a bigger closet!

Hi, Chris & Sylvia: and needlepoint bags are classy and quite affordable. Just check ebay and flea markets.

TWo friends at RWA showed me handbags they had picked up when shopping. I have some reputation. lol

Thanks for having me on, Vicki! You DO have a reputation with handbags! LOL! You are the very FIRST person I thought of when I bought this bag and it was $10 so you are right about them being quite affordable and CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!! I love this handbag and carry it everywhere except the pool..lol! I have a big giant beach bag for all that mess!

Thanks for stopping by, Chris! You are definitely going to need a bigger closet! This is an addiction for sure!

Sylvia, you have to join the club and get a needlepoint bag too! Thanks for your kind words about my book! That means a lot coming from a lady whose writing I admire so much! Hugs!

Thanks for stopping by, Melissa! I LOVE fringe! :)

Vicki, I had a needlepoint bag my mom gave me that I wore down to threads. Love them. I look for needlepoint pieces in thrifts stores. The next time I find one, I think I'll make a bag :)

Thanks also for the intro to another intriguing story.

Hope you had a blast at RWS Nationals :)
