#Handbag Monday: guest #historicalromance #author Heather Boyd, a handbag & her #newbook #fashion #accessories #MFRWorg #RssosSisters

Handbag Monday welcomes
...Heather Boyd

Bestselling regency romance author, Heather Boyd, believes every character she creates deserves their own happily-ever-after, no matter how much trouble she puts them through. With that goal in mind, she weaves sizzling English set love stories that push the boundaries of regency era propriety to keep readers enthralled until the wee hours of the morning. While writing full time north of Sydney, Australia, Heather collects dust bunnies in all corners of the house and does her best to wrangle her testosterone-fuelled family into submission.

I’ve only ever spotted the Fossil Vickery Shoulder Bag in David Jones (an Australian upmarket department store) but love was instant and forever. Soft black leather, so well made I might never let it out of my sight should I own one, and it has shoulder strap options. Squee…. It’s on my wish list for Christmas, or for the next really great income month we have.

Oh, Heather, don't get me started on Christmas Wish Lists! Ask Handsome how long mine is--LOL.

When Melanie Merton's neighbor Walter George jumps to her defense against slurs cast by suitor number twelve, he also pries into her past—uncovering the circumstances around a tragic loss in her childhood and her aversion to being touched by anyone.

*clapping hands* because I love historical novels, Heather! Thanks for joining me.

Hi Vicki, thanks so much for letting me show off my next handbag purchase! I'm really curious about how long your Christmas list is now. I have just one thing on mine. This bag! LOL

The book sounds interesting! i have always preferred historical romance and time travel romance to traditional.
The bag looks 'comfortable'...one I would use and it looks to be about the right size. I have 3..one is falling apart, one is too small and the other is too big, LOL! But that one works well to carry stuff to entertain the grand kids when we are out!

Hi, Heather! I have a very unusual wish list-beefy tires for my car. The standard ones look puny. So I returned an expensive birthday handbag -- unbelievable, right? -- and said this is what I want. LOL

Hi, Cathy! I like historical romance too. I think it is time to replace the one falling apart. LOL

I love how Heather describes that bag, and I hope Santa can make it happen for her.
All the best with your newest release, Heather. Like your others, it sounds great.

Hi, Crystal! Thank you so much for liking my site. I have tons of fun showing off handbags of all kinds. Many friends have told me they have found one they never considered and bought it. I just like handbags and want to see what my friend's carry. Hugs!

What a beautiful cover and I love the purse. What I love is the size of it! Looks perfect for my stuff but not being too big!

That's a great "everyday" bag. Enjoy your Christmas present (and the holiday season)!

Hi, Melissa! Remember a while back when all handbags looked huge and everything would be lost in them? That's when I seriously began looking at vintage ones. I liked the structure.

Hi, Angela! I agree with you on everyday bag! I can't carry an everyday bag (unless Kate Spade) for evening. I dress up in little black dresses on occasion and must carry the perfect evening bag. Hugs, my friend.

Well, Vicki. I often find Monday Handbags on Tuesday, a few lost Wednesday. But the discovery of yet another person who writes and collects stuff to carry our stuff is too much fun, I don't care what day it is.

Yes, indeed. George Carlin would have loved you. Dozens of stuff to carry stuff. Dozens more enchanting ways to grab the bag and go. Thanks :) And thanks, Heather. Maybe you can find out what manner of "bag" women carried in the Regency Era. Now that would be a hoot !! :)
