Handbag Monday welcomes
...Chanta Rand
Award-winning romance author, Chanta Rand, is a history junkie, a Walking Dead fan, and a recovering shoe addict. She never met a stiletto she didn't like!
I am in love
with this Judith Leiber Sodalite, Aventurine & Amethyst Fan Clutch Bag. This clutch is made of sodalite, aventurine and
amethyst. The interior is lambskin leather lining. Crafted in Italy, Judith
Leiber is an American Luxury brand synonymous with elegance, style and
sophistication. Nearly every first lady since 1953 has carried custom-made
Judith Leiber bags to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration ceremonies. It's truly
an iconic American brand. That is one of the reasons I adore this bag because
of the brand’s historical significance with the presidential inauguration's.
and because it's so colorful and it reminds me of a peacock! I like bright
colors and bling.
OMG, Chanta! This is gorgeous. I've been a huge Judith Leiber fan since college days; yet, sadly, can't afford one. What a wonderful treasure!
In 1061 A.D., The Kingdom
of Ghana is a sprawling empire rich in gold, resources, and military might.
After the death of her husband, Nabeela desperately needs an heir. Any man will
do. Even an man she mistakenly believes is a drunken soldier. When he finds out
what she's done, the real power struggle begins.

That is an awesome pattern!
Pretty! And the book sounds very good, too!
Hi, Chanta and thank you for showing off the Judith Leiber bag. I've only seen them through a display case and always amazed at the beauty.
What a different subject and setting! And the clutch is incredible too!
Thanks for sharing both!

Chanta, I have spent many a happy Handbag Monday with Vicki and her guests and although I have enjoyed so many of those bags, I admit I do not share all the passion that they convey to others. For me, it was ... a bag is a bag is a bag .
BUT THIS ONE floors me. Not only because I also love peacocks, that they are males and not females, that this is elegant and bright and bling ... but it is also a piece of history.
Cherish it and keep writing.
Hey, Vicki ... you really got me with this one !!! :)
What a beautiful bag. Well worth it's weight in gold! I love the detail! Congrats on your find!
Thank you for sharing this today. This is so pretty it certainly does catch the eye doesn't it?
Wow, that is definitely a work of art! Thanks for sharing.
Ladies, thanks so much for all of your kind words. I should clarify that I don't actually own this gorgeous clutch. It's my dream purse on my "to buy" list. LOL! Florence, I also love peacocks. That's why this one caught my eye. Maybe I'll get one for my 50th birthday. That will give me something to look forward to.
Vicki, thanks for hosting me. I love your blog and your book covers. They look fun!
