Handbags, Books, Whatever…

Too often, I blog about books and a lot about whatever. A sweet friend told me to write about handbags too! I'm certainly no expert.  I have handbags that date back to *cough* high school. I like something different than the current garbagebag-sized ones on the market nowadays. 

So once a month on a Monday, I'll be posting a picture of what this bon vivant about town is toting.

This month, our featured presentation is a lovely vintage Margaret Smith of Gardiner, Maine creation.

I found it on eBay and had to have for two reasons:

1/It's pink!!! I mean P-I-N-K!

2/It's a Margaret Smith.

Made of a slubby linen fabric, matching handle that glides over my arm, a vintage clasp, and roomy enough for all my girly stuff. There's a small zippered pocket on the inside, too. And a special note: VB swag.

This beauty goes will lots of my springtime outfits, even making the same ol' same ol' jeans and tee look special.
