~Handbag
Monday~
Today, my guest is Andrea Cooper, author of Viking Fire. Andrea has brought the most exquisite Chanel bag.
This is a Chanel Red Quilted Caviar Grand Shopper Tote (GST) Handbag with Gold hardware. The average cost is $3,000-used. (Way out of my price range.) The exterior is burgundy red lambskin leather. The interior is lined in grey satin. I love the color and we no longer have to have our purses match our shoes and I think red gives a pop of color to any outfit. I also like that it's big enough for all my things including my Kindle. It also features the signature CC twist logo. A replica (fake) Chanel Caviar starts at $200 and up (still way out of my price range :)
OMG, Andrea. I could only dream of having a bag like this one. You might have to share with me. LOL. The color is my favorite: Red.
Blurb: A feisty Irish lass in a battle of wills against her betrothed - a Viking!

OMG!! This bag is absolutely gorgeous. Love it, but way out of my price range. Sigh...I looked at the Coach Retail Outlet store this weekend and just couldn't see paying that kind of money for a bag. Sometimes I'm so cheap...
Hi, Sylvia! I love this bag too and yes, out of my range especially since I paid out the wazoo to have my needlepoint bag made. I found with Coach there is a shop frequently idea. Then you will find one. I also have found good buys on ETSY and eBay. Don't give up!
I love this bag. It is beautiful. I have an addiction to bags. I don't buy them often though but I would if I could. Its right ul there with books for me.
Hi, Kimberly! I love handbags too. and sigh, I find so many vintage ones on sites. Yes, bought one last week for $9.99, never carried. Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
Gorgeous bag!!! Sigh....but way, way out of my price range. I too found a never used gorgeous bag at a resale shop for ten bucks a few weeks ago. Your hangbag addiction is contagious, Vicki!! Did you know that?
Hi, Alisha! I love the contagious. LOL. Thanks for visiting.
What a pretty bag. I agree about the color. I love having a pop of color with the rest of my outfits, esp. since I love black... so thinning!
Gulp! Way out of my price range too, but it is a beautiful bag and my favorite color. I love bags but seldom buy them because the great ones cost too much.
Vicki,
Thank you so much for having me on your amazing blog. Sorry, I'm late it's been like five bad Monday's stuffed into one today.
I love this bag, but it is out of my price range. A woman can dream though ;)
Sylvia,
I'm cheap too. The only way I'd have a bag like this (even from a retail outlet) was if I won it ;) LOL
Thank you for stopping by.
Kimberly,
I understand your addiction. All my bags have to be able to fit all my stuff which includes either one book or my kindle ;)
Alisha,
Resale shops are amazing. I've found great deals there. Glad you found a gorgeous bag there.
Thank you for coming by.
Melissa,
I know right :) I knew someone who said shoes, bag, and outfit had to match - uh, no not since the 70's or 80's - or maybe I watch too much What not to Wear - which reminds me, they should really do a show on handbags and shoes.
Thanks for stopping by.
Beverly,
Red is my favorite color too. There are imitation bags out there for a low cost, but the quality might not be the same.
I usually watch for sales and clearance items. But I doubt this bag will ever be low enough for my budget - I can still wish though.
Thank you for stopping by.
Vicki, you are one hell of a crazy collector at heart. No matter, that red bag is over the top :)
Great looking bag! Andrea, best wishes with your book!
