Dec. 13-16: Santa Baby Blog Hop stops here! with Season of Magic authors #MFRWorg #RLFblog #Christmasgoodies

Welcome to the hop. Our hostesses for the day are: Merry, Cara, Gerri, Bobbi, and Vicki.

When asked who would write our post, Gerri jumped up and down, her arm flailing with an "I do! I do."

"Santa Baby – put a sable under the tree for me. I’ve been an awfully good girl, Santa Baby. Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's not a lot."

I get such a kick out of this song and it has always been one of my favorites. She has quite a list of items she would like to have Santa leave under her tree. This reminds me of the time that my then fiancĂ© was playing Santa for a group adult party. He and I had been living together and planned to wed the following year. At this certain event, “Santa” had a bag with a gift for everyone. I went to the party with my “wish list” in hand and when it was my turn to sit on Santa’s knee, I was ready. I took my seat and put an arm around Santa’s shoulder.

“Hi Santa,” said I.

“Hello there,” he said.

I leaned closer and whispered, “Santa, I’ve been a very naughty girl this year.”

“I know,” he said. “That’s why you’re getting everything you want.” And he snatched my list from my hand.

Now every time I hear that song, I think of the scene at this party and it brings a smile to my lips.

I hope that Santa brings you everything you want this year, but in the meantime why not treat yourself to a special holiday treat? Season of Magic (Holiday Box Set) features five authors, three novellas and two short stories all of holiday theme. With four Christmas stories and one Chanukah tale that will all warm your heart for the holidays.

Good morning, and welcome to the Santa Baby hop. Are you hopping this weekend, trying to get some holiday stuff accomplished? I am ready for wrap-a-thon! I do have an appetizer to make for tomorrow, but that's it. Let's hear what you are working on.

I love that song too. It always makes me smile. Thank you for sharing on a busy weekend. We had work early Sat morning and finished wrapping up some gifts and mailing out Birthday cards. Dec is always busy for us. 4 Birthdays and multiple Christmas celebrations. I love the chaos and the wonderful memories. A good book helps to restore some sanity. I truly enjoyed this collection. Thanks for your hard work.

Wow! It took me a while to get here, LOL! At first there was no 'comment' option...the 3rd time in it was there!
It's doubtful Santa will bring me any of the material things on my list this year. :( Too much going on. BUT I am okay with that as long as the kids are happy! And I am pretty sure they will be! I just want a drama-free day and happy grand kids...not too much to ask for!

Good luck with that..my husband and I haven't bought each other gifts in 3 years.when my daughter was born he lost his job. This is the first Christmas we are both working and we decided to make it special for her and our nieces. I'd rather see kids smiling than open a gift anytime..I hope your little ones enjoy themselves. Merry Christmas!!!

Karla, it sounds like you know my daughter in law, Ha ha! Drama queen for sure...but I love her anyway. She is going to be insanely jealous that my other son and his gf got the kids some very awesome gifts and because she and my son are both unemployed, there is not going to be much from them. She can be very childish when she is in her jealous mode!
My hubby and I have never been in the position to get each other anything, really. I thought this year might be different but the plumber wants $9000 to fix our plumbing. So yeah. Another year of pocket Tee's for him and an Amazon gift card for me. I am not complaining...just thought I might be able to get him something nice for a change...

Hi, everyone, and thank you so much for hopping our way. I am feeling for you, Cathy, and the huge plumbing bill. Not so much fun. But what can you do? Mine visited 9 times last year after the city did work. Sigh.

Hi, Ashley! I hope you can check out the SOM boxed set. We had a great time working on it. Happy holidays!

Boy was it hopping here! I worked all weekend and was assigned to the trauma bays and boy was it busy! But if I had been off I would have been finishing up my wrapping and last minutes holiday stuff, but that will have to wait til Wednesday. I completely agree with everyone... seeing my daughter's eyes light up on Christmas morning is priceless! Hope everyone has a drama free and happy holiday! penguinlady721@gmail.com

Feel for you Cathy. Plumbing bills suck. My brother is spoiling my daughter and our nieces with expensive extravagant gifts. I've learned to smile through it and roll my eyes when he isn't looking. It hurts a little that we can never do the same for any of them, but that's how he shows love. Hope your daughter and her hubby find work. That pain is one I've felt and we had to move out of state to better our situation.

Hi Everyone! It sure has been a hoppin' weekend here too! The closer it gets to Christmas, the crazier it gets. Never enough time and with the 2-year old, everything is about Santa! Today she helped me bake some Christmas cookies. We did make the thumbprints featured behind my story (The Yuletide Bride) in Season of Magic. Only this year my little granddaughter provided the thumb print! Thank you all for stopping by and for leaving comments. Happy Holidays to you all!

It's kinda quiet here today. Not a bad thing to just take some time to breathe. Hope you all have a great holiday season.

Thank you for sharing and for participating in the hop.

The anthology looks really good, I'll have to check it out.

I am late starting - last minute I know! My birthday was Sunday so wasn't online the weekend and very little yesterday (except for the couple of cover design projects I turned in).

Merry Christmas :)!

Pam you'll love this series. The stories are really good. Each one puts you more and more in the Christmas spirit. The best part is they are written as unique as the each Author so you can enjoy each one for what it is. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
