Which
handbag?
Handbag Monday
Bag
# 1: The photo doesn’t do it justice (none of my photos do justice to their
subjects). It’s cute and shiny and awesome and RED (my favorite color), and I
never get a chance to use it. I can’t possibly carry everything I need, even to
an evening party, in something so teensy. Nope, not this one.
Bag
# 2: I bought this bag to take to a conference. It’s colorful and has sequins
on one side, but it’s totally impractical. Put a few books or a kindle in it,
and it becomes a lumpy sack. Also, it doesn’t match anything I own. Sigh. Maybe
I could use it for my knitting?
Bag
# 3 is a Vera Wang – totally out of my usual price range, but it has a
snakeskin pattern (I love animal prints) and was reduced from $ 129 to $ 29, so
I snapped it up--and I actually used it for a while. It didn’t match anything I
wear, but so what? But all that metal (plus the books and/or Kindle) made it
too heavy, so…nope. If anyone wants a partly-used Vera Wang, let me know.
Bag
# 4: YES! A Baggallini. It’s understated (the leopard print pattern is very
faint), durable and practical, has lots of pockets, and
is reasonably priced if you wait for a sale. I love my Baggallini!
Barbara, my MIL loves her Baggallini, too. I've found them very reasonably priced at Marshalls.
Years
ago, Andromeda Gibbons lost her belief in both love and magic, and molded
herself into a perfect—but perfectly unhappy—lady. Now, when she overhears her
haughty fiancé plotting treason, she flees to Lord Fen, the one man she can
trust. But taking refuge with Fen proves to mean far more than getting help.
Can Andromeda learn to believe in love, magic,
and the real Andromeda once
again?

Thanks for putting up with all my bags, Vicki. :)
Barbara, it's easy to put up with your bags. Maybe they are not practical ... but the sure are pretty :)
And ditto for your cover and blurb on Andromeda !!
Thank you, Florence. :)
Hi, Barbara! I know those handbag indecisions too well. It didn't help that I bought two more Friday night when Handsome was out of town. I'll probably have to let a couple go. Sigh.
Thanks for being with me today, Barbara. oxox
Oops. You buy handbags the way I buy socks, Vicki. :)
That first red bag is definitely a sassy, out-on-the-town bag!
Yeah, Angela, it makes me wish I were a sassy sort of person. I'm closer to an old hippie, to tell the truth, LOL. I'm sure that poor bag is yearning for a new owner, but I'm not quite ready to give it up. ;)
I agree about the bags. That red one was so pretty but I would worry that it would get ruined taking it anywhere and the same with the sequins one. I do love the cover of your book!
Thanks, Melissa! Needless to say I'm very happy with it, especially all that lovely RED.
I adore red.
