Jerrie Alexander's hubby is exceptional; see on #handbag Monday #MFRWorg #RLF blog #fashion #accessories

~Handbag Monday~
welcomes author, Jerrie Alexander!

Hi Vicki! Thanks for inviting me over to chat about my brand new bag. I'm really hard to please when it comes to purses, so this new addition to my closet was well received.

This Laurel Burch bag was a Christmas present from my wonderful husband. Okay, full disclosure; he had my help when it came to selection. :) I stumbled across a two day sale on Zulily.com and fell in love with the styles and sizes offered. The construction is very sturdy, but the bright colors and fun design won me over!

I've needed something large enough to carry swag at book conferences, yet, serviceable enough to haul towels, sun block, and sunshades for vacation on a warm, white sand beach.

Thanks for having me over.

Hi, Jerrie, and love having you show off your Christmas present! What an exceptional man. And isn't it rare to see a handbag with a painting on it?

Catherine McCoy lands in small-town Texas and meets Sheriff Matt Ballard, he ignites a flame she thought lost forever.

Good morning, Vicki! Thank you for having me as your guest today.

I truly am hard to please when it come to my handbag. Finding one that's colorful and has dual purposes is always a winner with me.

What else could a girl ask for?

Hi Chris! Thanks for stopping by. I had the perfect bag to carry snorkel gear, towels, etc but lost it last year. Not sure this one will carry my equipment, but it's the perfect size for a book, towel, sunblock and sunglasses.

Jerrie, that bag is too pretty for a beach bag. LOL

Hi, Jamie ... yes, as Vicki said ... that bag certainly is an eye catcher.

I love the design and love that you can stuff about anything into it.

Also, love the cover and description of your book. Good sales on The Green-Eyed Doll :)

Vicki,I'll have to be sure and carry a plastic bag. Not putting anything wet in this bag!

Florence, thank you for stopping by! The second thing I love about these bags are the price! They're very reasonable. :)

Thank you for your good wishes to The Green-Eyed Doll!

Hey, Vicki and Jerrie. I'd have stopped earlier, but I was finishing my taxes! (She said with a smug smile on her face.) :) I've seen the bag in person and it's a real winner, let me tell you. And 10 thumbs up for The Green Eyed Doll. It will scare you to death, but no one writes sexual tension like Jerrie. Super good read. I'm off to play since I've finished my taxes. :) I did tell you I did that right? :)

Hey Marsha!! You're so clever to have your taxes done. Congratulations. Thank you for the wonderful words about my purse and book! Enjoy your day off!

Chrys! Thank you for dropping by! I'm tempted to carry it all the time, but I'd just keep adding things until it got to heavy. LOL

Love the bag, Jerrie. Gorgeous colors!

I'm addicted to Christian Audigier purses (he also designs the Ed Hardy line.) E-bay alerts me when a new one is available. It's a sickness.

Melissa Keir, thanks for stopping by! I love things that I can use for more than one task.
